Precautionary Notes on Climbing Mt.Fuji
1.Mt.Fuji is the highest mountain in japan. Before you climb it be sure to check the weather forecast for the mountaine and make sure that you bring along proper clothing and provisions which may be necessary for protection from rain and cold weather.
2.If the weather becomes treacherous, please take refuge in the nearest mountain hut.
3.Please do not stray off the designated hiking trails because you might cause falling rocks which could injure other hikers.
4.Please carry a flashlight along with you if you hike at night and be sure to check batteries beforehand to make sure that they work.
5.Please keep Mt. Fuji clean and do not litter on the mountaine.
there are garbage facilities,so all of your trash must be carried back down the mountaine with you.
6.There are two safety Guidance Center on Mt.Fuji. One is located at the 6th Station on The Yoshidaguchi trail and the other one is located at the 5th Station on the Fujiyoshidaguchi trail.
7.There are First-Aid Stations on Mt.Fuji. One is located at the 7th Station on the Yoshidaguchi trail and the other one is located at the 8th Station on the Fujinomiyaguchi trail.
8.In a toilet, toilet paper except water solubilitydoes not use it.
Guide Map of Descending Trails From The Summit of Mt. Fuji
Be careful not to take the wrong Trail when you descend the mountain.
1.There are three descnding trails from the summit of Mt.Fuji. They are the Fujinomiyaguchi trail, the Gotembaguchi trail, and the Yoshidaguchi /Subashiruguchi trail. Be sure to choose the correct trail when descending the mountain.
2.At the 8th Station, the Yoshidaguchi/Subashiriguchi descending route splits off into to diffent directions. The Subashiriguchi trail continues on to the left.
3.On the Subashiriguchi and Gotembaguchi trails, please go slowly and watch your step when descending on sand slides.
4.On the Fujinomiyaguchi trail, the same path is used for both climbing and descending the mountain.
5.Please be careful when crossing the crossing the roads which are used by bulldozers.(Watch out and stay out of the wayof bulldozers.)
6.The guidepost of each start of a trail up a mountain is classifiedby color. When getting down from a mountain,it other checks.
